01 Period/Location

  • Period: July 6 – August 7, 2026 (5 weeks)
  • Location: Shanghai, China

02 Positions

You’ll be fully integrated into the Marketing Organization at CJ Food China. This will allow you to gain experience in key aspects of marketing from trend analysis to branding strategy. Your responsibilities will include:


  • Brand Social Media Operation. Manage and maintain brand social media accounts for mainstream Chinese platforms, maintaining consistent brand image.
  • Brand Content Creation & Communication. Plan and create brand-focused content, deliver brand stories and core values via Xiaohongshu, WeChat, Douyin and other channels.
  • Brand Marketing Research. Conduct local brand research, analyze competitors’ brand communication strategies and collect consumer perception insights.
  • Brand Campaign KPI Tracking. Assist in tracking brand communication campaign KPIs, monitor data performance and summarize communication effectiveness.

04 Who You Are

[Minimum Qualifications]


  • Commitment: Able to commit to on-site, full-time internship in China.
  • Academic Status: Currently enrolled in, or recently graduated from, a Bachelor’s or Master’s program (including MBA).
  • Work Authorization: Be legally authorized to work in the country where the internship position is based.
  • Workplace Attendance: Able to work on-site at CJ Foods China offices in Shanghai steadily throughout the internship period.
  • Availability: Ensure continuous working schedule without frequent leave or remote arrangement.
  • Career Intention: Open to pursuing a full-time brand marketing / brand communication position after graduation.


[Qualifications]

  • Brand & Marketing Acumen: Strong interest in brand communication, with basic understanding of brand building, Chinese young consumer insights and social media trends.
  • Analytical Skills: Solid logical and data sorting skills, capable of organizing market research materials, summarizing competitor brand cases and analyzing campaign performance data.
  • Experience: Prior internship, project or campus experience in brand communication, FMCG marketing, new media operation or PR fields is preferred.
  • Strategic Sensitivity: Able to understand brand tone positioning, and support daily communication content polishing and simple brand strategy sorting work.
  • Local Cultural Competency: Deep familiarity with China’s social media ecosystem (Xiaohongshu, Douyin, WeChat) and local youth culture preferences.
  • Industry Passion: Genuine enthusiasm for food & FMCG industry, willing to track brand development and consumer trend changes continuously.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluent in written and spoken English and Mandarin; Korean language skill is a plus.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in AI tools for daily document sorting, data statistics and presentation making.
