CJ CheilJedang invites global talents to join our 2025 Global Summer Internship at our headquarters in Seoul, South Korea. This intensive 8-week program offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in marketing, with exposure to Consumer Insights & Trends and/or Global Branding. It’s designed for individuals eager to contribute to CJ CheilJedang’s strategic marketing initiatives by analyzing consumer behavior, identifying emerging trends, and supporting the development of bibigo’s global branding strategy.

03 What You’ll Do

You’ll be fully integrated into the Marketing Organization at CJ CheilJedang Seoul HQ. This will allow you to gain experience in key aspects of marketing from trend analysis to branding strategy.

Your key responsibilities will include:


  • Consumer Behavior Analysis: Gather and analyze data on consumer behavior, preferences, and trends, providing actionable insights to inform marketing strategies.
  • Market Research: Conduct research on global market trends, competitor activities, and emerging consumer needs, identifying opportunities for CJ’s products.
  • Bibigo Global Branding Support: Assist the Branding Team in developing and refining the global branding strategy for Bibigo, focusing on increasing brand recognition and market penetration across international markets.
  • Trend Identification: Track and analyze emerging trends in the food and FMCG industries, helping position CJ CheilJedang as a leader in innovation and consumer engagement.
  • Marketing Strategy Support: Collaborate with both teams to contribute to the development of marketing strategies that enhance brand positioning and product success in global markets.
  • Reporting and Presentation: Compile your research and analysis into reports and presentations for key stakeholders, contributing to the strategic decision-making process.

Through this internship, you will gain a broad understanding of global marketing, working across both consumer insights and branding, playing a key role in shaping Bibigo’s presence in global markets and CJ CheilJedang’s overall marketing strategies.

04 Who You Are

[Minimum Qualifications]


  • Commitment: Able to commit to an on-site, full-time internship.
  • Academic Status: Currently enrolled in or graduated from a 4-year college or university outside of South Korea, pursuing a bachelor’s, master’s (including MBA), or doctoral degree, with an expected graduation date between December 2025 and July 2026.
  • Relocation: Willing to relocate to our CJ CheilJedang offices in Seoul, South Korea, for the duration of the internship.
  • Travel: Possess a valid passport and are able to travel internationally.
  • Post-Graduation: Open to starting a full-time position upon graduation.

  • Marketing Acumen: Strong interest in marketing, with an understanding of consumer behavior, branding, and trends.
  • Analytical Skills: Demonstrated strong analytical skills, with experience in market research, data analysis, or similar fields.
  • Experience: Prior experience in marketing, consumer research, or related fields through internships, projects, or coursework is preferred.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and contribute to the development of effective marketing and branding strategies.
  • Cultural Competency: High cultural adaptability and openness to living and working in Korea, especially in understanding and engaging with diverse global markets.
  • Interest in Consumer Goods/Food Industry: A genuine interest in the food industry and FMCG sector, with a passion for understanding and responding to consumer trends and brand development.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluent in English; proficiency in Korean or additional languages is a plus.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with market research tools and proficiency in MS Office or related software for data analysis and presentation.
