CJ CheilJedang invites global talents to join our 2025 Global Summer Internship at our headquarters in Seoul, South Korea. This intensive 8-week program offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in global talent acquisition and HR strategy. As a Global Talent Acquisition Intern, you will be involved in designing talent acquisition strategies for non-Korean candidates, providing operational support, and contributing to the creation of effective onboarding processes for international employees. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about global HR operations and are eager to contribute to CJ's growing international workforce.

03 What You’ll Do

You’ll be fully integrated into the CJ CheilJedang Seoul HQ Global Talent Acquisition Team, where you’ll contribute to the development of foreign talent acquisition strategies and provide operational support for the recruitment process. Your role will be crucial in shaping CJ’s approach to attracting and onboarding top international talent, ensuring smooth integration of foreign employees into the company’s global workforce.

In this role, you will:


  • Global Talent Acquisition Strategy: Support the development and execution of strategies to attract top foreign talent, ensuring alignment with CJ’s global workforce needs.
  • Operational Support: Assist in the operational aspects of the talent acquisition process, including coordinating candidate communication, scheduling interviews, and managing recruitment databases.
  • Onboarding Program Development: Contribute to the design and implementation of onboarding processes that ensure a smooth transition for foreign employees joining the company, focusing on both cultural and operational integration.
  • Global Recruitment Research: Conduct research on recruitment trends and practices in key international markets, identifying opportunities for CJ to improve its foreign hiring strategies.
  • Data and Reporting: Assist in tracking key recruitment metrics and compiling reports to support decision-making within the HR department.

04 Who You Are

[Minimum Qualifications]


  • Commitment: Able to commit to an on-site, full-time internship.
  • Academic Status: Currently enrolled in or graduated from a 4-year college or university outside of South Korea, pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree, with an expected graduation date between by December 2025.
  • Relocation: Willing to relocate to our CJ CheilJedang offices in Seoul, South Korea, for the duration of the internship.
  • Travel: Possess a valid passport and are able to travel internationally.
  • Post-Graduation: Open to starting a full-time position upon graduation.

  • Global HR Understanding: Interest in global talent acquisition and foreign employee management, with some prior experience in HR or related fields.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to contribute to the development of global talent acquisition strategies and onboarding processes.
  • Operational Excellence: Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and support operational processes within HR.
  • Cultural Competency: Openness to working in Korea and engaging with diverse cultures, with the ability to design HR practices that reflect global diversity.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluent in English; proficiency in Korean or additional languages is a plus.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with MS Excel, Powerpoint, Office, HR software, or recruitment platforms is preferred.
