CJ CheilJedang invites global talents to join our 2025 Global Summer Internship at our headquarters in Seoul, South Korea.

This intensive 8-week program offers an in-depth experience in the food industry, enriched with insights into K-Food and K-Culture.

It’s designed for individuals eager to make a meaningful impact on business growth through strategic innovation and organizational transformation—key drivers of CJ CheilJedang's global expansion.


As an intern, you’ll actively contribute to shaping the future of our industry, engaging in strategic projects that support our worldwide growth initiatives.

03 What You’ll Do

You’ll be fully integrated into the CJ CheilJedang Seoul HQ Business Development Team, where you’ll work on strategies for penetrating new markets and developing new product categories, directly contributing to our global business expansion efforts.

Your key responsibilities will include:


  1. Developing Market Entry Strategies: You will create strategies for entering new markets, conducting market research and analysis to propose actionable entry plans.
  2. New Product Category Development: You will explore opportunities for developing new product categories, contributing to the expansion of our product portfolio aligned with global consumer trends.
  3. Project Management: You will manage and report on key projects related to global business expansion, collaborating with your team to ensure successful project completion.
  4. Market Analysis and Reporting: You will analyze global market competition, consumer trends, and potential growth opportunities, providing actionable insights based on your findings.
  5. Contributing to CJ CheilJedang’s Global Vision: You will support CJ CheilJedang’s mission to globalize K-Food and K-Culture, playing a strategic role in organizational innovation and global expansion.

04 Who You Are

[Minimum Qualifications]


  • Commitment: Able to commit to an on-site, full-time internship.
  • Academic Status: Currently enrolled in or graduated from a 4-year college or university outside of South Korea, pursuing a bachelor’s, master’s (including MBA), or doctoral degree, with an expected graduation date between December 2025 and July 2026.
  • Relocation: Willing to relocate to our CJ CheilJedang offices in Seoul, South Korea, for the duration of the internship.
  • Travel: Possess a valid passport and are able to travel internationally.
  • Post-Graduation: Open to starting a full-time position upon graduation.

  • Strategic Thinking: Strong ability to think strategically, with a focus on driving business growth and innovation.
  • Strong Analytical Skills: Demonstrated strong analytical skills, with experience in market research, strategy development, or similar fields.
  • Experience: Prior experience in business development, marketing, or related fields through internships, projects, or coursework is preferred.
  • Cultural Competency: High cultural adaptability and openness, especially in navigating and embracing cultural differences, including understanding that some practices in a foreign country might seem unconventional or non-rational.
  • Interest in K-Food: A genuine interest in K-Food and the global food industry, with the ability to appreciate and engage with cultural nuances.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluent in English; proficiency in Korean or additional languages is a plus.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with market research tools and proficiency in MS Office or related software for data analysis and presentation.
